What is a game server?
A game server is a computer that keeps a game world running around the clock. Your child and their friends can connect from home and play together in the same world – for example in Minecraft, the most popular game at HypeServ.
What is Minecraft?
Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world and is rated for ages 7 and up. Players create, build and explore their own world. In “Survival Mode” they gather resources, in “Creative Mode” they build without limits – which encourages creativity and problem solving.
What does hosting mean?
Hosting means that HypeServ runs the server and takes care of all the technology. Your child manages the server through our own online panel: starting, stopping or changing settings takes just a few clicks, no technical knowledge required.
How does prepaid work at HypeServ?
Credit is topped up on the HypeServ account before use, and the server is renewed for a set period with it. Once the credit is used up and the server is not renewed, it is deactivated automatically. There are no further costs and nothing to cancel.

Yes, safety is our top priority. We protect all servers and the customer portal with modern security measures. With a whitelist, the server can be set up so that only friends or selected players can join. This has to be enabled once in the panel.
Only the data we need to provide our services, such as the email address for the account and payment details for topping up credit. You can find all details in our privacy policy.
That depends on the game and the server size. Minecraft servers start at €6 per month. Thanks to prepaid, you keep full control over costs: no subscriptions and no hidden fees. All games and prices
For children under 16, we recommend using HypeServ under adult supervision. Minecraft itself is rated for ages 7 and up, but setting up a server can take some technical understanding. Our support is happy to help with any questions.
No. HypeServ is prepaid, so there is no contract and no notice period. If the server is not renewed, it is deactivated automatically and no further costs arise.
As long as the server is renewed, it can stay online around the clock. You can stop and start it in the panel at any time.
