The goal of this update is simple: more modpacks should install and work on the first try. The new installer offers better compatibility for major modpack sources including CurseForge, Modrinth, FTB, and Technic, while also improving support for direct server pack installs.

It also brings much better handling for newer loader setups like NeoForge, along with the file structures and server pack formats used by many modern packs. We have also made the installer easier to use outside of the usual hosting workflow. It is now available as @hypeserv/mcmp-installer, which means anyone can run it directly with npx for easy usage anywere.

Or install directly from a ZIP file:

npx -y @hypeserv/mcmp-installer --wget-mode --modpack-id https://example.com/pack.zip
